World's best player is back?

The best water polo player in the world and Croatian player Sandro Sukno returned after a heart attack in Cleveland, home to Dubrovnik.

In October of last year, following a routine check-up, they found a heart failure that stopped playing and as the only option to continue their career, the operation was performed by one of the world's best cardiac surgeons Dr. Nicholas Smedira.

'The most important thing is that the operation has gone well, now I need some more time. I did not get a special therapy, for five to six weeks I should be in control, and after that I could start with the activity. But slowly, there is time. I'm going step by step, I hope I'll be back on the water polo, Sukno said.

Otherwise, Sukno performed the operation two weeks ago, and then the public informed about the state of the star from the Croatian Water Polo Association.

'Captain of Croatian Water Polo Representation Sandro Sukno was subjected to surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Based on the report immediately after the operation performed by one of the most esteemed world cardiac surgeons Dr. Nicholas Smedira, the condition of our captain is good.

"The planned operative treatment was performed and the heart surgery was performed without complications. Now there is a recovery phase, and doctors hope that Sandro will be fully recovered as soon as possible and be able to play again for the Croatian national team. His return to homeland is expected in about two weeks, "he added.
