What changes are we going to see?

From April 26 to 28 representatives of Fina, national and international federations, players, coaches and referees, as well as a group of independent experts will meet at the Intercontinental Hotel in the Hungarian capital to discuss the future of our sport. The goal is to lay the foundations for a real change in water polo, to make our sport more attractive to the public, the media and the sponsors, and to promote its development in the 5 continents. Therefore, we will not speak only of possible changes to the regulation, but also of arbitrage, international calendar, organization of sporting events, new technologies, sponsorship, marketing and growth in areas where water polo has currently little tradition. Compared to the past, the novelty lies in the fact that, alongside members of international sports institutions, independent experts and associations will also be present in Budapest, as well as professionals in the communication, marketing and TV sectors. They will listen to proposals coming directly from the world of water polo.

We are waiting to see what transpires from this meeting.
